Objectives

Participants successfully completing the program will be able to:

  • Describe the importance of the ESD control program.
  • Describe the 7 key responsibilities of management, and the primary responsibilities of the ESD Site Coordinator and supervisors in ensuring appropriate ESD practices within the facility.
  • Provide an overview of the key elements in an ESD control program, including personal grounding, environmental controls, and appropriate practices.
  • Describe the processes used to verify compliance with the ESD Control Program Plan, including the audit process and records of compliance or deviations.
  • Describe the necessary steps to maintain a high level of ESD awareness and compliance.
